These companies all accept a variety of towing insurances but ask to be sure when calling.

Factors to consider when ordering a tow:

• If you are waiting with the car, a tower closer to your location will mean a shorter wait time.  If the car is in a safe location and time is not an issue, a towing company that knows CarSMART's location may be helpful so only one set of directions/instructions have to be arranged.

• Be sure the towing company has either wheel lifts or a flat bed to tow/transport the car and never let the car be towed with the front wheels on the ground.  Serious damage could result without proper equipment or technique.

• If you carry AAA towing insurance, the car will go to the nearest AAA affiliate.  If you carry AAA+ towing insurance, you can direct the destination of the car to where ever you would like up to 100 miles away.  If the desired destination is more than 100 miles away, you would only be required to pay the charges incurred beyond the 100 mile mark.

• Be sure the towing company accepts your brand of towing insurance before you order the tow!
